Beretta 92X Capacity
The Beretta 92X is chambered in 9x19mm and feeds from the same magazines as the 92F, 92FS and M9. This gives the 92X a standard magazine capacity of 15 rounds, though newer magazines have been re-designed to hold 17 and 21 rounds and the limited 10 round mags are also available for those who live in states with ammo restrictions.
Beretta 92X Feature
Imagine the M9 if they changed the ergonomics and tried harder. That’s the Beretta 92X in a nutshell. Retaining all of the internal components and general function of the OG 92, the 92X improves on the classic with improved grip contours and an optics-ready slide. It still operates on the short-recoil operated action with a tilting locking block as the original.
Beretta 92X Ergonomics
The Beretta 92X uses the same control layout as the earlier iterations of the 92 series but has different contours along its grip. The front of the grip is checkered, as is the back, and the grip panels are made with G10 Hogue surfaces for excellent traction. The back of the grip sits at a constant 15 degree angle instead of having a palm swell, and this allows users to more easily engage the magazine release.
Beretta 92X Concealability
The 92X is not easily concealed outside of cold winter environments where heavier clothing can be applied. As a full-size gun, this pistol is most easily packed in an open-carry setup.
Beretta 92X Fit-N-Finish
The 92X uses an alloy frame and stainless steel barrels and slides. All of the steel parts are black nitride coated to make them nearly impervious to oxidation while the frame is anodized for the same purpose.
