Benelli R1 Capacity

The Benelli R1 is available in .308 Winchester, .30-06, .300 WIN MAG and .338 WIN MAG and feeds from a detachable 4 round magazine.  With one round in the chamber, this gun can hold up to 5 rounds making it fall into compliance with all rifle hunting laws in the US.
Measuring 44 inches long with an unloaded weight of 7.2 pounds, this rifle is incredibly easy to carry around over long durations without inducing much fatigue.  While the length does make it a bit tricky to navigate through dense vegetation, its lack of sharp edges helps keep it from getting tangled up in the leaves.

Benelli R1 Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The R1 handles like a deer rifle and has controls that are similar in setup to the Remington 1100 or 11-87.  The stocks, whether wood or composite, include a half-pistol grip and integrated cheek riser while the forends feature included contours that offer a much more stable grip.

Benelli R1 Fit & Finish

The Benelli R1 is built with a hardened steel receiver and is available with either composite or hardwood furniture.  The design makes smart use of polymer where metal simply isn’t needed to reduce weight.  All contacting surfaces are honed for a smooth action that won’t wear out easily.
