Barrett M95 Capacity
The Barrett M95 is chambered in .50BMG (12.7x99mmNATO) and feeds from a proprietary 5-round double-stack magazine. The M95 is not compatible with the more common M82 and M107 magazines, and the barrel is rated to fire all standard-pressure .50BMG loads.
Barrett M95 Feature
The Barrett M95 is a bolt-action bullpup precision rifle that is designed to deliver heavy-hitting firepower on distant targets with pinpoint accuracy. This rifle is built with a 29 inch barrel that is fluted to cut down on weight and to improve barrel cooling, and has an oversized muzzle brake on the end to help tame the recoil of the hard-kicking .50BMG cartridge.
Barrett M95 Ergonomics
The M95 has an identical length of pull to the M82 and M107 rifles and even uses the same fire control setup and buttpad. The biggest difference in ergonomics is in its bullpup configuration where the magazine sits behind the pistol grip. The grip itself is an AR15 pattern grip that can easily be replaced with any other grip that doesn’t have an upward flare to its back contours.
Barrett M95 Mobility
The Barrett M95 measures 45 inches long and has an unloaded weight of 23.5 pounds. Adding a scope strong enough to handle the recoil and a full 5-round magazine will give you a rifle close to 27 or 28 pounds. Clearly too heavy to practically be fired from the shoulder, the M95 comes with a factory-installed bipod to provide stable aim when shooting from a prone or other supported position.
Barrett M95 Fit-N-Finish
The Barrett M95 is made with the same construction methods as the M82 and M107, meaning it’ made out of heavy-gauge stamped steel. Where the M95 differs is in its fixed barrel that is permanently attached to the upper receiver and is directly connected to the scope rail. This provides the highest degree of possible accuracy in the rifle.
