M1 Carbine Capacity

The M1 Carbine is chambered in .30 Carbine and is typically found with its most common 15 round magazine.  5, 10, and 30 round magazines are also widely available and are still being produced today.  The M1 Carbine’s magazines are known to be the weakest point of the gun due to their thin sheet metal construction, so replacing magazines may be common.
Measuring just under 36 inches long with an unloaded weight of 5 pounds, the M1 Carbine is incredibly easy to use in almost any terrain.  Its lack of protruding contours prevents it from catching on gear and vegetation, and maneuvering in tight spaces is relatively easy.

M1 Carbine Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The M1 Carbine is an incredibly light rifle that was designed for handiness.  Its stock drops down quite far to allow for a comfortable cheek weld, and its traditional style stock gives the user a very comfortable and familiar feel.

M1 Carbine Fit & Finish

The M1 Carbine is still in current production, however the ones people want are from WWII and the Korean War, and have all been heavily used.  Though they all still work, they show many signs of wear and damage, especially to the stock.  They have no issue working, however their magazines are a known weak point in the design and need to be replaced regularly.
