Aac Honey Badger Capacity
The Honey Badger is chambered in .300 Blackout and feeds from stamped steel or aluminum AR15 pattern STANAG magazines. The standard magazine capacity is 30 rounds (They make up 95%+ of the magazines in circulation) while it can also use the shorter 10 and 20 round magazines. Sadly, nobody makes a reliable drum magazine in .300BLK, so we can’t mention those.
Aac Honey Badger Feature
The AAC Honey Badger was the first gun specifically designed to use the .300 Blackout cartridge. It uses the same gas system as the AR15 and uses a modified bolt carrier to shorten the gun further than just shortening the barrel. The Honey Badger has a 6 inch suppressor-ready barrel and is built off of a unique milled receiver kit that accommodates a specialized collapsing stock.
Aac Honey Badger Ergonomics
The Honey Badger has identical controls to the AR15 and comes standard with an Magpul MOE grip. The collapsing stock can be extended out to match the A2 rifle stock length of pull. The free-floating handguard has a slim 1.75 inch width and has MOE slots milled into it for attaching accessories like forward grips and the like.
Aac Honey Badger Mobility
With its stock collapsed and its suppressor removed, the Honey Badger measures only 24 inches long and has an unloaded weight of 6.5 pounds giving it the same weight as a standard AR15. With a suppressor added, the overall length typically doesn’t exceed 29 inches, and this allows the Honey Badger to easily be maneuvered through close-quarter environments.
Aac Honey Badger Concealability
While the Honey Badger is already a small rifle, it can easily be concealed in a discreet carrying case by separating the upper and lower assemblies, as was its intended role. The Advanced Armament Corporation designed the Honey Badger for special operations where a tiny, concealable rifle might be needed. AAC was bought out by Q LLC and production has continued on the gun.
Aac Honey Badger Fit-N-Finish
The Honey Badger is built on a billet receiver set that is PVD coated to offer better protection against damage from weather and wear than typical anodizing. The bolt carrier was re-designed to allow the recoil buffer to be integrated into the carrier to shorten the recoil system for an overall shorter gun. The Honey Badger has been made by a small handful of companies and is currently under production by Q LLC.
