The Remington Model 512 Sportmaster was a .22 rimfire bolt-action rifle introduced in 1940 and made until 1966. It has open iron sights and can shoot .22 Short, .22 Long and .22 Long Rifle ammo. Approximately 393,665 of them were made in that time. The Model 512P had the same specs as the standard model but with a patridge-type blade front sight and a "point-crometer" peep rear sight.
