Marlin 1895 Gbl Capacity
The Marlin 1895 GBL is chambered for the heavy-hitting .45-70 Government and feeds from a fixed tube magazine with a 6 round capacity. Rounds are loaded directly into the magazine tube through the loading gate on the right side of the frame.
Marlin 1895 Gbl Feature
The Marlin 1895 GBL - “Guide, Big Loop” is a compact lever-action rifle that is built with a 19 inch barrel topped with a hooded front sight post and elevation-adjustable rear sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped in order to accept an optics rail that allows you to mount a scope, but make sure you put one on that can handle the recoil of a .45-70 cartridge. The barrel of the gun has a 11/16-24 thread at the muzzle which allows you to attach a compensator to aid in taming the recoil.
Marlin 1895 Gbl Ergonomics
The marlin 1895 GBL is designed to be handy as well as comfortable. The forend is checkered to provide a very decent grip and has contours that are comfortable for almost all hand sizes. The stock includes a half-pistol grip with more checkering and a large-loop action lever that allows the user to comfortably carry and operate the gun when wearing gloves.

This increases its durability against wear as well as rough handling. The GBL has a stock and forend that is made of laminate wood sealed in a matte clear coat which is incredibly durable ensuring that the pieces remain intact over years of heavy recoil.
