Gun Descriptions

The Model 700 SPS puts legendary Model 700 accuracy and reliability within reach of most avid enthusiasts. It's a no-frills, tack-driving game-dropping machine built with everything you love about the Model 700, including a hammer-forged barrel, externally adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger, SuperCell recoil pad and, of course, hair-splitting precision, straight out of the box. It features an ultra-rugged, ergonomically designed synthetic stock for superior weather resistance and handling.

The Ruger Precision Rifle has a proprietary Pre-Fit barrel system. Pre-chambered "Drop-In Ready" barrels can be purchased, and the correct headspace is set using a proprietary barrel nut design. The barrel is threaded to fit the Ruger action threads. This way, a competent gunsmith can fit a new barrel exchange a worn barrel with a new one by only using an AR-15 barrel wrench and proper headspace gauges. This eliminates the need for machining by the gunsmith as with traditional barrel mounting solutions. The RPR is compatible with AR-style handgrips, buttstocks and some types of handguards. The trigger is proprietary, but aftermarket triggers are available.
