BOZ Ammo was fired using a modified 10mm MP5 and 10mm Glock to participate in the head-to-head trial at DERA Fort Halstead against NATO CRISAT. Specification of the target was layered with titanium and Kalver armor. The bullet was reserved mainly for anti-terrorist and special forces, not civilian use. The parent case used to design the .224 BOZ Ammo was the 9x19mm Parabellum Ammo.
